DOG FOOD is a 72-page photography zine, edited by Jason Eskenazi and Arjen Zwart, that combines mostly archival material mixed with a dash of cynicism and wry humor. The dog was the symbol of the cynics so we question our practices and have some creative fun doing it. Many friends helped contribute since the inception of the zine in Istanbul in 2012, bringing new ideas, editing styles and wonderful content. Each issue offers a new photo-manifesto; foto-roman; photographers trigger-fingers; tribute to photographers that have passed; a 10/10 list of photographers 10 films & 10 literary books that Influenced their creative lives; as well as new articles on varied themes.
